Sondex Oilfield Technology requires a bright, dynamic, reliable individual to participate and take responsibility for all aspects of Warehouse Materials Handling within a fast paced environment.
Description:
Moves material within warehouse as directed.
Receive supplies and materials from receiving warehouse and stock in assigned areas within the main warehouse.
Assist in inventory and audit of materials.
Responsible for assembling kits and issuing material to production as required.
Ensures accuracy with data entry when transfer material from warehouse to work orders.
Distributing product to correct locations within the organization in a timely manner ensuring maximum availability for internal customer support of operations.
Ensuring good housekeeping and safety procedures are maintained.
Picking orders as required supporting internal and external customers.
Assist with any other duties as required by warehouse personnel and customer service.
Providing constructive feedback and participation to continuously update and formalize procedures.
Reporting on all key performance indicators to improve efficiencies.
Shift will be Mon.-Fri (8:00am to 5:00pm) and periodic weekends as required.
Qualifications:
Minimum 3+ years material handling experience
Ability to read and understand engineered drawings specifically the familiarization of electronics and structural material.
Speak, read and write the English language fluently.
General planning, time management, communications and organizational skills required.
Intermediate level computer skills with MS Office applications (Word, Excel and Outlook).
Effective communication techniques and a high level of commitment towards customer service.
Knowledge of M2M and SAP systems would be an asset.
Dependable and reliable (owned vehicle is an asset).
Ability to take ownership of job through to completion.
Excellent problem solving skills.
Self-motivated team player.
Experience with Bar Coding.
Forklift certification an asset.
Past supervisory experience an asset.
WHMIS and TDG certification would be an asset.
Able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
