Kick	A well is said to "kick" if the formation pressure exceeds the pressure exerted by the mud column.
Knuckle Joint (PKJ)	A passive conducting universal ball joint used for decentralisation of the CCL, and to add flexibility to the toolstring in horizontal or highly deviated wells.
