All Sondex logging tools are designed to provide a particular type of data under the general headings of Production Logging or Inspection.
The data obtained usually has a prime purpose within a suite of logs, but the same data can often be used to indicate other parameters. For example, a gamma log is normally run to provide a direct correlation between the open hole logs and the cased hole logs. The same log can also show areas where radioactive scale is building up, provide corrections to other nuclear logs, detect tracers etc.
