Guardian, the Sondex Drilling PDD (Pressure During Drilling) Sensor, enables continuous monitoring of Annular and Drill Pipe pressures when coupled to any of the Sondex Drilling MWD Systems.
Description
The Guardian PDD sensor is housed in a separate drilling sub situated below the Directional/Gamma MWD assembly, or between the MWD assembly and the TRIM or CPR Resistivity Tool. Comprising two sensors which measure annulus and drill pipe pressure independently, the tool is self powered and includes downhole memory as well as the ability to transmit acquired data in real time, when connected to a Sondex Drilling MWD System.
