Our efficient, low-maintenance MWD System is designed for easy
transportation and assembly. Built to perform in harsh environments,
the MWD System can operate in temperatures up to 175ºC and under
pressure up to 20,000psi.
Description
The positive-pulse tool accommodates a number of probe configurations,
ensuring top performance in a variety of flow ranges and collar
diameters from 3.5in outside tool diameter. This modularity,
combined with the MWD System's rugged and retrievable design, minimizes
rig downtime and reduces financial risk.
The superior technology of BlueStar's MWD System includes a reliable
and efficient Directional Module. Straightforward to configure, it
allows operators to avoid "hand decoding". The windows-based, full
color graphics LCD screen of the Rig Floor Display can be readily
viewed in normal rig operating conditions. In addition, the hardware
selection is power efficient to reduce consumption and extend useful
battery life. The MWD System's down linking capability also allows tool
operation without tripping controlling instruments.
Additional resources include the onsite installation of a natural gamma ray sensor, a down hole memory, and hardcopy logs.
